Description You can make this freeform lacy looking ring out of one single wire. It's a fun and quick project and makes a stunning accessory for your outfit or a great personal gift.

There's no particular pattern in the ring band, but the tutorial shows you guidelines to get the lacy curly effect.

I made the rings almost entirely with my fingers. You only need pliers for finishing touches (although I think you could do without them).

So bottom line: this intermediate leveled tutorial requires almost no materials, tools and time!.

Needed materials and tools:

- 40" of 22 or 20 gauge soft round wire
- ring mandrel
- wire cutters
- round nose pliers
- nylon jaw pliers (optional)
- metal file (optional)

The pdf file size is about 1.69MB. You get 7 pages with 23 steps.

I'm very tempted. The description tells me that it does not show how to make this ring specifically. How difficult, do you think, it would be to make this then if you've never done it before? And, after practicing a few rings, how long would it take you on average? And do you find that the ring losses shape easily? I'm sorry for all the questions!

No problem!

The tutorial is made for intermediate level wire artists. For myself I can make a ring in half an hour, maybe even 15 minutes.

The ring is a freeform ring, you cannot make exactly two rings alike. But the tutorial explains how to begin and progress at your own taste.

The ring is not sturdy sturdy with this technique, but you can get it into shape again quickly.
