Duel? What for? Anyway, this is strange because at first I kinda didn't like this one. Until I saw it in full view and noticed that there were pigeons on the frame of the picture. One on the outside and one seemingly sitting IN the picture, free over the clouds. 
LOL Even if they ARE also known as rats with wings.

just a question how do you guys decide who wins, or what are the rules of the competition?

well, we don't actually have winners......it's more an exercise in pushing your own boundries and forcing yourself through creative blocks....the rules are pretty simple for the manipulation duels...you are given an image to start with and the first person uses that image to create something....then the other person has to take some element of your image and use it in theirs.....and you just go back and forth that way each time, incorporating something from the previous image......then we also have photography duels too, where you are given a concept or theme, and you take turns photographing your interpretation of that theme.....i've done 5 or 6 photo duels, but this is my first manipulation duel.

oh yes! i forgot about that part! you've got 3 days....although, quite a few people tend to bypass this rule....stuff comes up and they can't get their piece done on time...but as long as you post that you need more time, noone seems to mind!

oh yes! they are!!! and sometimes they can be quite challenging too, especially if you get a theme like sound or something abstract like that! you should join up over there and do some photo duels!
