Yayyy I actually finished something. Modern team avatar :UI actually made this cuz I was thinking about making an LoK comic that took place in a highschool. It was originally not going to have bending, but people have been convincing me otherwise. So anyone have any thoughts? Should my LoK comic have bending or not?
Also I know its Makorra week and that clearly looks like a subtle hint at Masami in the background but I'm a Makorra shipper I swear TT3TT (No, that definitely does not mean I hate other ships because I don't

Nice pic. My personal thoughts on the resolution of Makorra versus Masami (I perfer the former but am okay with both) is that if Asami doesn't end up with Bolin (which is looking likely in canon with the whole introducing a new love interest for Bolin thing), her child will end up with a Makorra child. And a LoK high school AU? Sign me up!

Yes, have bending in it! Maybe mess around with the idea of 'bending' eg a high school where it teaches them to bend or maybe they're the only benders? Or go way out and make it a non-bending comic but use their canon elements to express their emotions? Maybe just think completely outside the box? I dunno - I like the idea of a high school full of benders though.

I have a few ideas for what I'm going to do to incorporate it (possibly school sports and such..) and I already have a few pages sketched out so we'll see what happens 8)

It looks wonderful, and I think it would be best for the comic to have bending. I believe that in AUs, when they don't have their powers, there's really no point in using their characters.
