Here’s the page about Splatoon splatling category, featuring gatling guns/cannons! Any weapon that has exactly same stats with the existing weapon will not be shown.
Please noted that the DPR of all the splatlings are 28, the damage level of a SMG! I obviously couldn’t find any gatling guns using pistol cartridges so please remember that all the cartridge here doesn’t fit in the game.
Mini Splatling / M134 mini gun
Mini Splatling is a splatling with short charge time but equally short range so M134 is the obvious choice. It features 6 rotary barrels and is much lighter and slower ROF than its BIG brothers. Not to mention the fact that they share the name “mini gun”.
Heavy Splatling / M61 Vulcan
The reason M134 is called “mini gun” is because someone compared it with M61, so if there’s something resemble Heavy Splatling, it’s gonna be this monster. M61 Vulcan is actually classified as cannon and the word “heavy” is still not enough to describe this beast. Seriously, no human can lift a 100+ kg motor and spray 6,000 shells per minute without having their arms ripped out! Inkling, on the other hand…
Hydra Splatling / M197 Electric cannon
Ironically, although Hydra Splatling has heavier weight, greater range and stronger volley than Heavy Splatling, M197 is actually supposed to be a lighter version of M61. They lighten the weight and recoil by reducing the barrel to 3 and lowering the ROF to 1,500 rounds per minute. Even so, it’s still impossible for single personnel to operate such weapon. Can you imagine how massive the recoil could be when each shell is as big as a carrot?
These are just my opinion. If you have some questions or some better suggestion, feel free to comment!
