Description
This piece is a huge step forward for me. It was the first time I really focused on contrast on a pony.
The first time I drew a background that actually looked good.
The first time drawing trees that actually looked like trees.

I'm really proud with how this piece turned out.
I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
I have no idea how much time it took me to complete this but I took my time over multiple streams to do it.

This looks amazing Vaser. The shading, the colors, the attention given to Fluttershy. You did a wonderful job. Traditional is hard to get a hang of and looking back you should be proud of your progress. As a friend, I'm very proud of you

This was definitively the first time I used a whole selection of pencils from my colouring set but it was not my first time using them.

Fabulous work with this!!! Is it weird to be proud of another artist for the work they created? Because that's what I feel right now with what you're able to produce! You've been making crazy leaps and bounds forward with your art this year. Just looking at the last artwork you drew involving backgrounds is a testament to that! Absolutely killed it with the background this time around. Love the depth and variations of colours you used for the trees in addition to all the textures going on here. And I can definitely tell you focused a lot on making Fluttershy pop! I think your effort to create more contrast was a success! I can't wait to seeΒ what your 2018 art summary will look like!
