I have a lot planned for her and a general idea for her moveset, but yes, I'm open to suggestions. I will say that it's mainly just "remastered" in name only. She's going to play very differently than my previous version!

Can I take notes to you for suggestions?

Certainly looks better than before. Ponytail shouldn't move here that much though and why not use SSB4 model?
And just a tip - don't leave her legs static like i did with my characters or like you did with previous Samus. Doesn't looks good like this. It takes more effort of course, but its worth it.
...maybe i should return to making this kind of stuff...

I made the ponytail move because I thought it would add a nice extra detail since she is turning her head. I guess it does swing a bit too far, but I don't really feel like redoing the animation, though. lol I would have used the SSB4 model, but I didn't want the rocket boots since her Varia Suit is being summoned, and thus it wouldn't have made much sense visually. So I just found a texture replacement for the Brawl Zero Suit to resemble SSB4's since I do prefer that suit's texture pattern. I think her legs are passable here being that it's just a quick intro and she's standing still. Rest assured, though, her legs will have movement for her idle pose.
I think it'd be cool to see you return. I always liked your creations and thought maybe things like an Optimus Prime from you would be neat, but whether you decide to come back is entirely up to you. I've had a few fights against your Ridley in arcade mode while playtesting my Sweet Tooth. I sometimes forget just how hard he is to beat. At least my special Dark Tooth mode makes it a little easier. lol

Mouth movement also looks kinda weird. And good to know what legs won't be an issue for this one.Β
I decided to make a quick return with...i think it should be obvious what. But it will be my last one. And i'll try to get even more ridicolous with AI than with newest Ridley while making the character overall more balanced.

If anything you could say the mouth movement is the same in Smash Wii U with some characters. Their mouths just pop open and close, one frame each. Haha
I also remedied the lack of leg movement on Sweet Tooth as well. He now bends his knees when he's idling.
Ah, gonna redo Ridley again, eh? Cool.
I have at least one other character planned before I start on Samus Remastered. I'm gonna make a trooper from the Section 8 games.

Not in all cases (Ganondorf and Captain Falcon actually have animated mouths...well, Ganondorf's mouth isn't properly animated, but still), but ZSS isn't one of them, so...
Good.
Yes.
...don't really remember that game, but ok.

I know, I'm just saying. Really, though, this animation looks better in-game since it's a bit quicker and has flashy effects to it.
I didn't think you had heard of it, I'm just saying. The characters have amazing armor, at least to me and many other people. This is what it looks like: www.deviantart.com/art/Sectionβ¦
The troopers can Overdrive sprint at 75MPH, they have built in jetpacks, deploy to the battlefield by being shot out of their dropship in the sky (without parachutes, and they can hit the ground full force at terminal velocity and be just fine), and basically all their weapons, including their pistols, are railguns.

Glad you think so. I'm excited to get to work on him after I 100% complete and release Sweet Tooth. I did release his beta a while back by the way, if you're interested in trying him out.

Her suit is a construct of her will, bonded to her genetically, that's why she can summon it and it just magically appears. Though I suppose I made her pose when calling on the armor a bit Iron Man-ish, didn't I? I didn't even think about that. lol

Ok I'll show you, some of them are ref sketches I didΒ for a commission I'm doing because I don't have the digital resources to finish some of my arts.
Except doing it in Black and White Comic Book Style.

What if Samus has palettes? Y'know, Fusion Suit, Phazon Suit, etc.

I've already thought about that. I went with a cel-shaded lighting setting, and it looked more cartoony, so it allowed me to actually make a decent looking Gravity Suit palette for starters!
