DUDE! Hard to pick a favorite from your gallery, but I will go with this one, for the simple but efficient background. I've been thinking about making a short story with lots of buildings and kinda fearing what's to come, but this piece made me realize I don't need to go full architectural for it to look nice.
Really feeling the mood, watched for more!

this is really awesome again! love what you can do with a few lines and relatively simple colors. so much atmosphere and story. how do you come up with these little narratives you have in your drawings? i wish i could come up with more creative stuff like this! always stuck with boring portraits.

Thank you! I personally really like the contrast between mundane, everyday life and fantastic elements. So rather than thinking too much about a particular narrative, I start by thinking about what mood I wanna go for and how I wanna achieve that contrast. The narrative becomes almost a byproduct of that, if that makes any sense.

i feel like this way of working is quite simple when i think about it, really smart too.
