Rock is the punky green hedgehog, Han is the bubbly and cute eagle-griffin thing and Maria is the beautifully cute female hedgehog on the right who looks a lot like the hedgehog version of Alice in Wonderland? Is that so right?

LOL actually, Rock is a Unicorn (hence the horn and ears), Han is an owl and Maria is based off 'Maria' from Sonic Adventure 2, she is a human in the real game
