If I was Celestia, I'd be a *bit* more worried at seeing her putting the Nightmare Moon armor back together. It is cute though.

walking through the hallways of the royal castle celestia called out for her sister wondering where she could be. "lunaaaaa~ lunaaaa~" she yelled. as celestia walked into the room with a suprised look on her face too see that luna had been re-building her "Nightmare Moon" armor. she asked "luna what are you doing?" luna with a smile said: "I'm going to be like Nightmare Moon sis!" celestia smiled and walked in as she said: "Here, let me help you with that."

but I wont lie, my first impression was of rearmament to reignight the fight... but that's just me being paranoid....right?......right...?

Well, if it were the reason I had been separated from my dearest friend for those 1,000 years, I would jump up and down on the pieces a lot. Then build an outhouse just so I could put them in the tank for it.

I just now noticed the expression on Luna's face. It's actually quite surprising, she seems to be enjoy gluing her armor back together. I think that's cute.

Her Nightmare Moon Armor is a relic of the monster that she once was. But now to her its fancy armor.

Yeah shes probley restoring it so that it will be put up for display in a museum or Canterlot's castle display room (if it has one I think it should) maybe she'll give it to Twilight and the others as a trophy.

New arse theory: Luna'd have had Nightmare Moon's physical shape if she wasn't sealed in the moon. The elements not only purged the evil from her, but rewound her clock, like that one Slitheen, to give her a second chance. Only the Slitheen was a newborn while Luna was the age she was 1000 years past.

One of the more interesting theories I've heard is that Nightmare Moon's armor was the physical manifestation of the malice-from-beyond-the-stars that corrupted Luna in the first place. With that in mind, it makes sense that it would shatter when she was freed from the curse.

No wonder it broke, what is it, paper mache? Should have go some good ol' metal armor, the kind that can be welded or forged back together.

The thing is probably so full of enchantments. I agree that is fix it like it was some kind of ceramic... Well, maybe it is. It could be also just temporary. To properlyput it together before welding it. She has a lot of piece and it easier to separate to piece glued together without damaging it that to piece welded together.

Possibly it's ceramic armor, like the Sergals use, lightweight but partly strong. Or maybe she's putting it together to make a mold for recasting it, I used to do that a lot when making statuettes when they went wrong and cracked. (MUCH easier than attempting welding. For one, the glue would have to handle the heat of having stuff welded near it.)
