Don't... even ask about the title. I'm listening to Beatles music and i couldn't think of a title. but hey, that's better than "bleh".Prom season is coming up and... ugh I don't even want to think about it. I'M PANICKING. I don't have a dress or a prom partner yet. oh god help me. I typed those words with a heavy heart.

It's a requirement to have a partner in order to attend prom. I could choose to not go to prom, buuut it's a mandatory and it would affect our grades

Cruel, yeah, but kind of stupid too. One should be able to go to prom without a date. Or as a group, like we did.

well, since our school is an all girls school, it can be anyone. I think I already have someone picked out, so i guess it's alright.

And as prom, I completely understand! I have to ask someone, and I only know like 3 guys pretty well, none of which I would ask. I've gone stag to every dance, the only reason to go to prom would be with someone....so yeah...I'm as stuck as you are, not sure what to even think about it...

Don't feel too bad! I'm in the same situation! There's no reason to get stressed. You've got plenty of time to prepare! And who needs a date when you've got a good group of friends? Or maybe a good guy-friend will ask you?

Make your own prom! Wear whatever mad collection of clothes feels most comfortable, put on your favourite dance music, drink ice tea and dance round the house using a large stuffed toy as a partner!
I never had a prom, since I was home educated, and I do this sort of thing every day!
(I did have a masked ball, once, though)
