My first piece for the 100 Themes Art challenging is ‘Night’.

I was originally going for ‘Introduction’ but one thing lead to another. Oh well, we’ll give it another shot down the line.

Saint got a hair cut.

I like her new hair style very much, so it’s staying, regardless of anyone else feels. This actually gives me two characters with similar bangs, (my dragon lady, Zan, has straight bangs too, but I’m giving her a major overhaul so that’s about to change) both Saint and Colette (my vampire). But such is life!

I have these type of bangs in real life, and I love them, and I was aiming to inject Saint with more of my own personal tastes. It was just getting to the point where she looks too sloppy, to rough, and that’s not how she is. She’s quite girly, so I am.

Oh yeah, no more black mixed in, it’s back to being simply purple.

Anyway, I like this piece; it was pretty fun and came along quickly. I had to take a small break from trades, I just needed to do something for myself! Maybe I’ll do one more Theme picture and then jump back on the art trades I need to finish (and start in some cases)!

I guess I’ll update Saint’s reference sheet sometime, but in the mean time I’ll just direct people here.

Vanilla’s feeling so tired and grumpy right now. Sometimes I wonder why I bother.

EDIT: I forgot to draw her eylashes through her hair last night. So I did it today. And I added her makrings! Well the one that you can see! On her knee there! Whoo, no more edits I hope!
