They raised a baby pig.. they gave it a name... played with it, let it sleep in their bed..
One day one of their kids asked where it was... my coworker pointed at the plate of ham they were eating.

I think how psychologically affecting it is also depends on a person's individual ranking of said animal on their hierarchy of intelligence.
For me, it'd be hard to do this to, say, a pig, or a dog, or a cat, but pretty easy with almost any type of fish or fowl. (And generally most people are down with killing bugs with or without intent to consume)
In any case, getting attached to an animal always makes it a notch more difficult to do some death-dealing. Unless you're Gogo, in which case it's the extra gravy on top.

This is creepy and so something Gogo would do.
Though it is a pretty massive bird.

Well, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being an entirely nonexistent, inconceived entity and 10 being a living, breathing organism, i suppose a comic character falls somewhere in the middle of the reality spectrum, given that its theoretical existence is acknowledged on some level by numerous individuals as an archetype with a limited range of idiosyncratic features...

So in some alternate universe in static chaos space, she exists by mode of infinite probability?

Well regardless of her existence or not, I find Gogo sort of relatable in the way that her weird way of thinking sometimes mirrors my own.
...right down to the claws.
And I really like that about her. She has actual CLAWS and not filed down nails.
When I'm agitated, my first instinct is to scratch stuff. She must go through a lot of upholstery and clothing with those things.

Thanks!
Though now that i think about it, as potentially "dark" as this outlook may seem, it's actually an arguably more humane and doting way to go about being a carnivore (assuming the kill technique is indeed "swift and painless")

You know, maybe she hears that by eating your prey, you consume their strength. Maybe she'd try to super train/buff up the turkey.Β
And then they end up with stringy dry thanksgiving.Β

Gogo's Thanksgiving traditions are quite deep.
Didi gets a plate full of Gogo philosophy for this Thanksgiving, as do we all.

I've got to agree with Didi here. Gogo is definitely creeping me out with HOW sinister plans her plans for that Turkey really are. That and it looks like she's lost some muscle mass there. What happened? I thought you found a body type that you liked for her?

This is actually a sense of deja vu for me. I had a neighbor once who had a rather large Turkey
(Ironically his name was also Cornell). I helped care for this fella, enjoying my time with the friendly bird.
Then...the day came. I was gone for most of the day, and got a call from the said neighbor to come
over for Thanksgiving dinner. Sadly my head wasn't in the game at the time and I had asked, "How's Cornell today?"
Then he said, "That depends" "Depends on what?" "Depends if you want white or dark.."
He tasted so good, yet...I felt so bad.
The lesson is...don't grow attach to livestock of any kind...

Does anyone else imagine Gogo speaking like a female version of Gru from Descpicable Me? I swear that's what I hear in my head every time I read a comic!
Great job as always! I can't wait to see what they get into during this holiday season!
