Description Fear magic+Shadow Magic=this. I like to think she looks a lot like a demonic Duerian (the thing Liulath (the last) is.). That in itself is scary--a Duerian turned demon? Duerian are like my most powerful ancients ever. o_o

Now back to the image--I based this off the things that scare me the most. Besides Zombies. They showed things like this in both the exorcism of emily rose, and the Amityville Horror. Creepy ass faces with their eyes gone with blood/blackness/etc flowing from both eyes and mouth. I accidently did that to a pic of myself I was photomanipulating and scare the shi out of me and couldn't sleep easily for a week. o_o This really isn't as creepy as the photomanip, but close enough.

This is an illusional spell cast by Shadow, which darkness manipulates her appearance to the thing that'll scare the victim the most. AKA she's attacking me. I think for killing off Shalveira, really.

Ignore title--really stupid.

All pencil, except for bloody thingies which was pencil until I changed the color in photoshop.

I think you did a really good job at making it look creepy and in line with the bleeding blackness stuff.
And the pose and and the wings, everything is just so awesome

Sorry, no critiques. I see you got some good ones back aways, and aside, I must say I'm just overall impressed with this. I'm a big fan of black-and-white, and black-white-single-color stuff.

So she takes on the appearance of that which you fear most? An effective tactic...

I like the overall zombie/demon look, but the clothes kinda of... irk me. Their shading/colors rob the picture of the detail I know you can attain. Anyway, as always keep up the great work.

much love for this.....I'm not particularly creeped by it....but, ya know, I bet that'd give most people nightmares for a few years.
now for crit, I like the job you did with this...especially the wings, lovely effect making them appear tattered. Only things that bug me would be that all of the black sort of meshes together....you can't tell the blood from the cloth. maybe if the cloth was lightened...and given some highlights or folds or something....And the uhm...I think it's left....*checks hands* yes..it's left...the left hand looks like it's in a terribly uncomfy position.
Right...enough from the cat-boy that has no right whatsoever to crit...anymeow, lovely job Vanny-sama.

The picture isn't really creepy, yeh, but the photomanip was. *shivers* Never looking at it....ever...again.

Oh I know, that's why I made the blood red. The rest is cloth, unless you think it'd be better if it was blood, and then I can probably fix that relatively easily.

o_o yeah. That hand does look awkward. That's a much harder fix. TT_TT

Cloth is good, wouldn't want her to be nekkid. Just saying maybe lighten it a bit.

It's okay--I didn't really emphasize that--it does have that bloody appearance. heh, I woner what it'd look like a bloody...

That entire arm bothers me really. It seems so stiff. I wonder how I can fix it....

Well, you could just bend it a tad at the elbow, not too much, it's still sort of comfy if you only have it bent a bit...think like the entire arm at a 150 degree angle rather than what it is now..which I'd guess is about 175 degree...but don't mind me.
