I love the way you saved a small amount of negative space for the center of the work. That makes the faces, which appear so prominent and attractive, appear to swirl around the center. I know you did that on purpose, and it's a great touch.
Your use of flowers, and ceremonial things has always been one of the unique and original aspects of your work. You've used them here to great effect!
I'm curious, too, about the delightful oval grid. what on earth is it? Whatever it is it gives the piece a rhythm and flow that is remarkably effective.
The whole thing just sings. You are so much the coolest! One day I'm going to try this medium, and I expect to learn how hard it is to do, and how one has to have great patience to even approach it. I do have a stack of old "Victoria" magazines from the nineties to help out. Yeah...they were pretty damn cool in their day.

Thank you ever so much!!! I have no clue what the oval grid is exactly, just a unique kind of matting I guess? It really does bring the whole piece together tho, doesn't it??
Victoria is one of the coolest magazine- I do believe my dad buys those for some of his collages as well

Yeah, it did bring the piece together very well. I know you may find it applicable to another collage, too, but, of course, you can find many ways to bring your pieces together. You've got the knack!
Victoria is truly cool...the remaining old ones. Your dad liked it too? Isn't that a rarity! I'll bet we'd have a lot of stuff in common to talk about!
