Actually, it's still Star Trek.
It can't be the Star Trek of old; times have changed, and it would not hold audience's attention the way it would have. As a result, Trek adapted and was forced to take on some traits of Star Wars in order to survive.
However, the new movies are still fundamentally Star Trek.
