Scurrying down the stairs after the last turn had ended, Morgana quickly rejoined the remaining group of players and readied to start up the game once more. "Alright, so which one of you is supposed to be the next one up?"

Before anyone could answer Morgana's question, the little bell hanging from the shop door chimed. One foot in the door, and the other still outside, a confused expression flashed across Akechi's face. "Am I interrupting something?" Backing up slightly, Akechi gave an apologetic smile. "I saw the lights on and thought the cafe was still open. I see it's not though, so I'll be on my way."

"Hey, hey, don't leave. You're already here, so why not stay and play along?" Leaving his spot on front of the group, Morgana began pawing at your shin. "You can be his partner, now get going."

Stepping farther into the tiny cafe, Akechi pressed his brows together. "Are you sure? I don't want to impose or anything."

"Don't worry about it." Already on your feet, you walked up to your partner and took his hand in yours. “I was getting really tired of waiting around anyway, so I'm glad you showed up when you did.” Without another word, you led Akechi upstairs. Releasing his hand once you were both in the center of Akira's room, you turned to him and smiled. "So now that we're up here, you want to guess what game we're playing?"

"Well, since we've separated from the rest of the group, my first guess would be seven minutes in heaven." Lifting a crooked finger to his lips, Akechi thought a bit more before nodding. "I've never participated myself though, so it's just a guess."

"It's a good guess." Already blushing, you dropped down to Akira's bed and shyly lowered your eyes to the creaky wooden floor. "You're right."

"So my hunch was right after all?" Looking adorably shocked, your partner's eyes went wide. "I'm surprised Sojiro was okay with this sort of thing."

"Oh he's more than just okay with it, he actually participated." Giggling at the memory, you gave the bed beside you a little pat. "I can tell you about that later, if you want. Right now though, we really should be playing the game."

"Ah, you're right." Though Akechi nodded in agreement with you, he didn't make any attempt to do anything else. "I'm not sure if I know how to do that."

Giving the bed another pat, you once again tried to get him to sit. "You could start by sitting down."

For a few seconds, Akechi simply stared at the bed without doing anything else. Finally, he spun around and grabbed a nearby folding chair. After unfolding it, he placed it directly in front of you and took a seat. "There we go. That should do it."

"I meant on the bed, but I guess that works." You were pretty confused why he had opted not to sit on the bed, but there wasn't enough time left for you to worry with asking him about it now.

As if reading your mind, however, Akechi quickly explained. "It's going to be easier to play the game if I'm in front of you, rather than beside, don't you think?"

“Well if you really want to make things easier, I could just sit on your lap.” Acting before you could think to stop yourself, you stood up and took a seat on his lap. Only now feeling the embarrassment from what you'd done, your cheeks started to go red. “See, you really should have just sat on the bed. If you had, none of this would have happened.”

“I don't mind.” Smiling in a way that suggested he might actually start laughing, Akechi loosely wrapped one of his arms around you. “This is all just part of the game, and since I've never played before, I might as well try to get the full experience of it.”

“The full experience?” Something about those words made your already hot cheeks burn. Was he trying, in a roundabout way, to say that he was interested in playing the game? As hard as it had been for you to get him to sit down, you wouldn't have thought that was the case. Still, he had come up here with you, and he hadn't seemed to mind at all when you sat on his lap. “Then that means...” Now flushed from head to toe, you inwardly steeled yourself. You still didn't know if you had misunderstood his words, but it was too late to back down now. “I can do that.”

“Do wha-.” Taking his face in your hands, you quickly cut off Akechi's words with a rough, messy kiss. Though your actions quite obviously surprised him, they weren't enough to throw him off completely. Regaining his wits a split second later, Akechi quickly returned your kiss. Had you been expecting him to do this, you doubted it would have had such a dramatic effect on you. Unfortunately, you hadn't been expecting this at all, meaning his kiss had impacted you much more than you cared to admit. Your mind growing fuzzy the longer he held you, it didn't take long at all before your limbs started to go weak. No longer able to hold on to his face, your hands slipped down to his shoulders as you tried your hardest not to go completely limp.

Clearing his throat loudly, so as to capture your attention and end the embrace, Morgana made his presence known. “Well, well, well, I bet someone's really glad he decided to stay and play.” Not moving from his place at the very top of the stares, Morgana narrowed his large eyes at the two of you. “Still, it's been seven minutes, so your time's up. And don't even think about making me come over there, because you'll regret it.”

A light blush dusting his cheeks, Akechi nodded softly. “Don't worry, we're going.” Though he tried to stand up to do just that, one look at your face and he knew you weren't going to be moving for quite some time. “It just might take us a while is all.”
