Coincidentally, I have been a little down lately myself. Life can be hard, and when we get older we lose the wonder we found in life when we were younger. Or sometimes circumstances in life can be oppressive. I know many people who have clouds hanging over their heads, and there is no shortage of sorrow in the world. I know I state the obvious, but sometimes it can help to know others have similar problems. I have a friend who is much older that says every person that he has ever known with any artistic inclination has always suffered the blues. On top of that, with modern brainscans, they have determined centers for creativity in the brain are also the same areas where depression comes from.
