Description
So, after taking a break from my fanfic of an X4, I decided to make a cast list for what I would do if I was in charge of casting for an X-Men reboot.I'm not gonna go into a schpiel bout why I picked who cuz I'm too tired to right now, maybe later on I'll edit in some of the reasonings. Though I don't mind answering questions or anything like that.

Wowsers - this is the first dream-casting of X-Men where I completely agree! Β ROCK ON!! Β I especially like Scott Cann as Wolverine; I think he would do a good job and it is time to give the amazing Hugh Jackman time to do all the other coolness he's wanting to.

Jensen Ackles as Colossus would be DIVINE. I like Gina Torres as Storm, too... Those are the only two I'm really familiar with, but everyone else *looks* good, at least!

But Scott Caan? I can't see him as him I really can't, I already think Hugh Jackman is a great wolverine, I don't see him as anyone else, and I think Ellen is a great as Shadow Cat, but I think Amanda Bynes would be great too....I'm torn but never mind haha, if they ever made a new x-men movie, I hope they don't crew it up, Anna Paquin REALLY got on my nerves with how she portrayed Rogue, she made her seem really really vulnerable and hopeless I hated it.

If they make Colossus like the Ultimate then I think that Jensen Ackles would do a great job. If they make him like the Earth 616 (and put him in a relationship with Shadowcat being played by Amanda Bynes) then I think that I should play Colossus.

Hugh Jackmon would have been great if Fox hadnt screwed X-Men over.

Most of all Havok,Rogue,Cyclops,& Jean.

Great cast for the most part. However, Scott Caan as Wolverine? Don't get me wrong, I love him in Hiwaii 5-0; but he doesn't really have what it takes to be Logan. I would pick Christian Cain wa Wolverine. But hey, that just me.

Honestly when I made this list, I forgot all about Christian Cain because the most I remembered seeing him in was in the Angel tv series; but yes, I would prefer Cain over Caan as well, no disrespect to Caan.

You know, when I saw Gina Torres in Firefly (which I only recently discovered) I thought, omg, she would make a way better Storm than Halle Berry!!!
And I love Dushku as Rogue, not that I don't love Anna Paquin, but lets face it, she makes a way better Sookie Stackhouse than she did Rogue...

Mike Vogel's ok... but I picture Cam Gigandet in the role of Angel. He's a good actor and don't even get me started on his abs...

I TOTALLY agree, Alex Pettyfer as Bobby. That's what I picture as Bobby, someone with blonde hair, with that look!
But, no offense, Scott Caan as Wolvie, Jensen Ackles as Colossus, Anne Hathaway as Jean, & Jamie Bamber as Scott?! Eww. Hugh was definately the perfect Logan, no one else could compare. Jensen Ackles is totally no Colossus. I always saw Jensen Ackles more as the Havok type. & Daniel Cudmore was fine as Colossus. He did a good job. James Marsden was made for the Scott role. & I don't think Famke Jensen is a very good Jean, but I definately think she was better than Anne Hathaway. Anne's just not Jean.
However, Gina Torres definately has a very good Storm look. I can see that.
I can see Mark Wahlberg as Banshee. I think he would do pretty good.
Warren, though, this kid is too rough looking to play Warren. Idk, I think Ben Foster was a good Warren.
Amanda Bynes as Kitty?!! No way! You've just broken my heart. There's no way I'd even watch the movie if she was Kitty. I'd hate for them to cast Amanda Bynes as my fave X Men character!! She's annoying & definately no actress!!(sorry, to fans of hers) Ellen page was the PERFECT Kitty, & I don't just think that because I kind of look like her.
Eliza Dushku as Rogue. That's a cool choice. I can see that. I think she would do well as Rogue.
Jared Leto as Gambit, though? Uh uh.
However, I do think James Franco would make a good Kurt.
Wow, Alyson Michalka is a really good one to play Dazzler! That's just how I picture her.

Nah, Jackman was never visually how I saw Wolverine and after the shitfest that was Wolverine: Origins, I want Jackman nowhere near a reboot.

James Franco as Kurt...Yeah, that's good! (making brainless noise, caused by estrogen)
And Jamie Bamber als Slim is good. Maybe a another actor could improve my opinion of Slim.
The choise for Logan is interesting. With the right hair cut...mmh, maybe.
And Gina Torres!!! Yeah! I support everything, which is related in any form to "Firefly"!

Like them. Apart from Nightcrawler's, Wolverine's and Polaris'. I liked Kurts & Logans original actors, and Ali Larter seems more Emma Frost like.

Honestly I don't see Larter as Emma Frost at all. I think she's best when she plays psychotic-like characters and she and Eliza Dushku are my top two choices for Polaris.
Understandable about Kurt and Logan, but I was trying for a total new cast. The only one I kept was Kelsey Grammar.

Nice recast eXcept making a distinction between acting and not getting a chance to act (because Wolverine does everything in the movies). I would leave a few persons:
Wolverine - Hugh Jackman did good, heck he put the I in team.
Cyclops - James Marsden was great he just didn't get a lot to do.
Storm - Nobody would do a better job than her if only she got something more than blinking her eyes.
Jean - I think Debra Messing was born to play this role.
Mystique & Professor X were obviously left out because they are irreplaceable.

My choices were made based on acting, not based on teh actual X-actors not getting a chance. I believe Marsden could have been a great Scott/Cyclops, but like most, I blame the writers for short ending him. Hugh Jackman while I like and respect him as an actor/overall performer, he's not who I see when I think of Wolverine.
I disagree entirely about Storm. Halle Berry is an overrated actress and she's not good at action roles; She's proven this going on 5-6 times now.
Debra Messing isn't really that good of an actress to me. She's annoyed me in all her roles and she looks nothing how I picture Jean.
Umm, I left out Mystique in this one because this is my heroes sheet, I have a villain sheet that includes Mystique. As for Prof X. I don't think he's irreplaceable, just that it's more of a challenge.

You matched that way better than Hollywood did. Except for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and Patrick Stewart as Prof X, I wasn't thrilled about any of them.

I like 'em, at least as visual matches (I don't know all those actors!) though Jensen Ackles as Colossus... meh. See, Petey's a big and imposing dude even before he armors up. Now, if Titan from American Gladiators can do a good Russian accent...

Well, it's certainly interesting. IDK how I feel about some of them. I mostly ambivalent, but Jensen Ackles as Colossus, Anne Hathaway, as Jean...I don't like those two. I would have thought Ryan Phillippe a better Iceman personally. Looks pretty good all in all.
Just some food for thought, everyone is gonna criticize the Jean slot. Can't please anyone and especially not everyone.

Well, Jean to me has always been more of a brains over brawn type of character; mainly because her powers are mind powers over physical powers.
As for Anna Paquin, physically she's not who I saw as Rogue, but I thought she was all right in the role. I think her character was heading into the Rogue we all know and love, but the third movie destroyed that idea.
