Description
Located on the Cathedral Square in the city of Zhitomir. Built on the site of the destroyed Basilian church (1771) in the Russian-Byzantine style with characteristic features of ancient architecture of the XI-XII centuries. The height of the cathedral is 53 meters. The bell has a bell with a weight of 500 pounds.In the decoration of the interior of the cathedral, the idea of displaying the mineral wealth of Volyn was laid, granites and labradorites of Zhytomyr region were used. In the interior of the monument - wall oil painting of the XIX century.
