Doom fanart, not about specific part or episode, but inspired by series in general. The third part, that i ran through more, than once is perhaps one of the three of my favorite FPS.It seems that having access to a PC only in 2000, I would never be able to appreciate the charm of the first two parts, however, I assure you, for me they look amazing. At least in comparison with Wolfenstein 3D, which I played because of the problems associated with burnt video card.
Hopefully, someday Carmack will make a awesome game again.

Hm, I can see hint of it, because of simplified forms and, partly, a color scheme I guess. Or maybe Doomguy was a knight sent to the future by Satan, after DooM '16 I little bit lost into DooM official lore.

For now I think that because of lack of accuracy in details, this one looks much better on preview, than full-scaled, but near the end of the year I'm going to make another DooM tribute so I will try my best not only to celebrate the 20 year aniversary of the series, but also to show my progress.

Yep, there are some similarities in pose and color scheme, but check out the cover of first Resident Evil game - when some guy in comments below mentioned it, it's make me feel like I goddamn tracer, despite the fact I never seen this cover before.

I never played Resident Evil before,so I can't tell anything about it.I'm really not feeling attracted to japanese video games(well,except maybe the classics like Mario and Pacman

A very nice expression of game's atmosphere.
And for modern expirience in old Doom try Brutal Doom mod - it makes the game totally harcore, and gives much more fun. Sure you would find a fuckton of inspiration in it
