Not a big fan of blondes, but Rufus looks so cute with a faint smug smile on his lips; that is a good enough reason to draw him. And he was insanely cool in Advent Children
Please excuse the pathetic attempt at rain and water droplets
(there are water drops on his hair and skin, if you bother to look carefully).

Cant...stop...staring...at...his...eye. Because it's that pretty. It's RUFUS!!! I always thought he had a stupid name, for such a cool person, heehee... you gotta do a tutorial about water and drops darling, I suck at them and I want to NOT suck!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeee....

Yeah his name sounds kinda silly, cos it rhymes with "doofus." I don't think water droplets need a whole tutorial dedicated to them, since all I did was:
1. Make a white blob on the surface with a 30% opacity brush (the shape depends on the "movement" of the water droplet. Stationary droplets are globular, ones sliding down a surface are dew-shaped)
2. Erase the middle of the blob in the way that one side looks thinner than the other. The side with thinner line is the side nearest to light source.
3. Add a small streak (the shine) on that thin side. Add a shadow on the other side, the one which is furthest from the light source.

Rufus was actually the only dude I liked in the game (with the exception of Vincent)
But yeah, he was cool in the movie, I just wished they gave him more of "out of the bedsheet" shots.

I think Square-enix should have swapped the scenes of Cloud brooding with more screentime for the turks. Cloud broods far too much in that movie:/
