yep- this one was also made when i just read "The Dreamquest Of Unknown Kadath".
one day i would like to make some more illustrations inspired in that story-i absolutly love it!

This is very effective. The lighting and colour pallet work very well. Incedentally, looking through your gallery, I really do like your approach to architecture/urban lanscapes. They have the feel equally of 18th C. Prague or Paris back streets and some once great but now decaying future city.

thanx so much ! i´m trying to reproduce the feeling of lisbon -where i live - specially the old part of town,Alfama wit all the narrow alleys.The house i live in was built in 17th century after the earthqauke- some house here are real old - like 700 hundred years... and also Hamburg (where i was born) and its old "Speicherstadt" is an big inspiration for me.
thanx for the encouragement ! i´m studying on perspective and stuff - to be able to produce more convincing city-scapes and specially indoors -in which i´m really weak.

I have nothing much to add to this one because it's great. The giant water creature is marvelous and actually has a personality. Subtle colors, lightning and reflections are great for this kind of mood. Blurry distant city background is great.
Town architecture is beautiful but almost cute, giving the entire picture a calm and warm feel. Two minor objections I have is the lack of contrast in the foreground and the HUGE single window on the top right.
