What kinds of photos were used for this? I am enamored by this art. I assume you used a tablet. Could you please give me an insider's look into how you made this? I understand if you cannot.

Some mountain and rock photos, industrial stuff, random bits from here and there. The idea is to get some texture out there fast, and then paint over it whatever you want to have in the picture. So a good understanding of values and basics is still required, photos are just another tool for me, and that's how I want to keep it. I don't know how much you know about digital working, so it's kinda difficult to now from what point to explain. And yes, I use a tablet.

Because of the hovering vehicle man!
It's much more developed than Skyrim, in the sense there is some much more advanced technology like for example electricity in the image, with the lights, cords and the vehicle. Oh yes I've played Skyrim, it's a good game and might be inspired by that too, not intentionally though.
Mountains and cities, I've been crazy for that shit for quite a long time from books and movies, and when seeing Markarth and Solitude for the first time.... That was awesome.
