This was shot at a public gathering in Bangladesh on the occasion of 'Bijoy Dibosh' (Victory Day) on the 16th of December 2011.

This photo shows a young girl going on a temporarily built Merry-go-round, which is manually operated by spinning it around in circles.. I used a panning technique to capture and present the motion of the little rider, resulting in blurring of the entire scene but only focusing on the girls mixed feeling of fear and excitement.
