Just like how Angelica's like her mother and her picking on Chuckie and barking orders to Harold mirrors her mother Charlotte's relationships with Drew and Jonathan [ i8.photobucket.com/albums/a2/T⦠and vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/n⦠]. In fact, Susie is basically the "Lila" and in Piece of Cake, Kimi is "Phoebe"-like [ www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPguhx⦠]. Which is not a surprise, since Craig Bartlett was a Rugrats assistant writer (who assisted in Angelica's creation, hence the obvious similarities between Angelica and Helga) before creating Hey Arnold.

you're right about that. I just wish that nickelodeon can see that they are crushing BILLIONS of viewers by not finishing th eproject. Maybe if theysaw this, they could turn to Craig, even if he worked for Cartoon Network and ask him to please finish this last project with him. They could finally finish thmovie and Arnold's long wait could finally end! he could be happy, see his parents again and admit his feelings towards Helga Pataki! He would be happy, and so would Helga, who has gone through many struggles in her life with her neglectful parents, oblivious sister, and hiding her real self behind locked doors. Arnold would be the key to those locks and Helga's real self could be free, she would be free and happy! The fans would be satisfied and joyful to know that everything worked out for everyone!!!! and most of all, Nickelodean and Craig could be satisfied to have finally finished the series with a better ending ... but they need to see this before it's too late! that's why i will not give up on the poor souls lost in a world of limbo, where Arnold never finds his parents or admits his feelings, where Helga is still trapped within herself!! I WON'T QUIT!

The sad part is that nick already acknowledge's Β the signatures, they facebook group was once showcased in the news, even CB has bee attending to various meetings with nick executive's, Β but in the end, nick is still not convinced that movie will be profitable, I bet they're wanting to do a big ass event like if it were the movie of the age and earn a shit ton lot of money, which they would never ever could achieve with TJM, I do believe there are ppl who would like to see it, but definitively not enough so nick can get the profit it wants, so, you can mark my words, but IF this new goal is met, nick will ask for even more signatures and keep dragging this thing forever until ppl understands they're not gonna do it. And I'm perfectly fine with it, because as I said, the movie was virtually completed (6th or 7th draft) it just didn't make it to be an actual movie, but the events are already been planned, we just won't know the exact details.

Which is annoying because since Viacom owns the rights they could easily raise the money through fans (say a good portion) which then means less out of pocket expenses and what not through things like kickstarter. That's what the cast for the new Veronica Mars movie did. They realized that it was never going to be made by studios. Plus Veronica Mars is owned by the WB so the cast and creator was given the green light to raise the money to make it. It just seems like this might be one of ways of going about it.
About the needing more signatures I think part of it is that they're doing the calculations in their head i.e. 15k or 30k at tickets costing 6 dollars a pop (most it's more but they probably go with matinee). So they're doing rough estimates with the most likely budget and of course studios want to get the biggest profit margin imaginable...
That's why I'm going to support the new Spongebob movie even though I am not fond (more like loathe) the franchise because it's using old school animation which needs to be supported and loved. Then I'm supporting the new "Sky rat" for that same reason. If both are seen as very successful then it should give more weight to our goal.
