I was thinking of a sci-fi future concept where the avatar is basically a cyborg rather than a bender, but with whatever special cyborg powers come along with it. Asami is her mechanic and friend, and helps fix Korras body whenever she breaks while fighting bad guys. Someone mentioned that cyborgs might not be able to feel touch or pressure since they are part robot, but then Asami could program Korras body to feel touch, and they could have a normal hug. It would be cute :3
