Those roses are fine.
Would sleep in them anyday - as long as those pesky thorns and stems are gone.
It looks menacing and rather empowering with those colours you've used, as if he is trying to get you under his contro,l and I like that. Emotion is always something I adore in a piece of art!

The nose shadow seems too dark though and makes it look like he's a skeleton with a hole right where his nose should be, and the shape seems a little too curved and tight(?) at the bottom of it. Maybe even add slight tones of extremely dark grey into the eclipse so it doesn't just look like it's a circle of darkness, but something real and full. Other than that, I really like this! I hope you don't mind that I've critiqued it! >.<
