Description My submission for the lineart contest, "hair". This is a work in progress. I'm thinking of adding a background. What do you think of outdoor scenery vs. elegant wallpaper? Sketched with pen, drawn with Gimp.

Update: Thanks for the votes, y'all. I'm in a bit of an artist's block at the moment, so it may be a bit before I get back to finishing this work.

Do it! I'm psyched to hear you're interested in coloring it. I still haven't come up with a background. So if you're cool with how it is I'll leave it, but if you have some suggestions that'd be great, too. Thanks much!!

I love it as is. The BG is perfect, cause the color scheme requires white for it. I will link you when all finished.

I'm still on the fence about it. It might be that I'm feeling lazy after the work I put into the lines already. I went ahead and submitted it to the contest with no background. I figure I'll just have to decide when I get to that stage of coloring it, and if others choose they can make whatever background they wish. Thanks for the feedback, I'm still pondering over it.
