UPDATED: new shots of robot mode with the shoulders transformed right.I did my best to get the truck mode as close as I could to the few reference pics I had, adding bunched up cords, painted on hood net, chains, a new paint job, and lots of weathering and rust.
For robot mode I stuck to his usual color scheme as much as possible.
I really hope his look in DOTM is consistent with the last 2 films rather than him having a lot of dull green showing in robot mode. The only thing about movie Megatron that looks like Megatron is that he is silver with a big gun!
He has the damaged face and rust from his previous defeats. Poor guy probably won't make it out of the next movie alive.

Question: how long has this guy been out? I've seen pics of him (the paint Hasbro gave it looks pretty half-assed especially compared to your masterpiece), but I'm just curious to know as I want to pick one up and repaint it myself.

I considered it, but it seems like it would be something you'd have to mess with a lot when posing. The existing cape does the job great for both modes with very little hassle.

i feel so bad for megatron.. hes gotten his ass handed to him in the last 2 movies.. no wonder he hides his face under the cloak of shame.

What I don't get is why is he changing his alt mode again, I mean they had an explanation in the last film (he was rebuilt). But he also had a giant cannon on him, why give that up for this mode?

I havent seen DOTM yet but with no allspark and limited Cybertronian tech, I'm guessing he is just in bad shape and needed a new disguise. This one lets him face Optimus on his own ground too. Although the normal truck mode has no huge gun, I bet his mech-tech weaponry more than makes up for it in the movie.

Holy crap....this seriously has got to be one of the most creative and just overall awesome custom I have ever seen.
