I think the whole quilt is spectacular, from concept to execution! The constellations and the spiral lone star are wonderful - I think my favorite part, though, is the nontraditional complimentary color wheel.

I'm amazed & disappointed for you that you didn't win. I can only imagine what the winning quilt looked like. How did you manage to get so mch detail in such a small area? Have you been taking classes with George Siciliano?

That was one project to tackle wow! Must have been very hard to get the points perfect soooo
thin. Love the circular shapes, and gradations of bold colors that really make this quilt. Hard to keep things square. Great job!

Thanks! The other entries were amazing too!... It's in another competition (county fair) right now, and it is up for consideration in a juried show... I won't know if it made it til August 3rd.
