We all see news articles that we don't approve of - so you hit the little reject and
it. Fair enough.But then we have the petty crowd. Who reject news for silly reasons like jealousy or bitterness. This is really annoying - and so very predictable.
So. If you're rejecting news don't hide behind the
- show yourself and lets see who has the backbones out there.

I once rejected a news item, and took great delight in making clear my reasons for rejecting it.

It was attacking a friend of mine, and I wasn't going to let that stand, so I voiced my objections. Fortunately the deviant hid the news article (I don't think you can delete them?) so that kind of stopped any dArama from occuring!

If I want to reject something, I'll reject it, comment or no. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all - so use the reject button.

i have to admit... when i was new to dA and i wanted to unfav a news article i clicked on reject because i thought that was how i get rid of it in my fave news... i was young and dumb

I usually let people know in a comment if I rejected a certain article, and I only reject them for good reason.

I swear some people actually reject for "the fun of it", incredibly stupid, I know.
I've only rejected a few news articles that have been solely for advertisements, petty behaviours and/or a spam of their own work...
I really think we should have some sort of moderator to accept news articles if they are clearly written and are for a sole purpose...
Maybe that rejection button also needs to get the bin

Yeah they are the type of news I reject - and generally they'll have a few comments pointing out why it isn't news so there is no point adding to it.

also I had someone say something like "well written article. But I'm still going to reject it"
and I had one that said "how are we supposed to go green? Rejected!"

I would love it if it showed names because there are those of us that reject things and just don't comment because we have nothing to add. I wouldn't mind if every article I have and will reject shows my name on it because I've got nothing to hide in that respect.

I have only rejected the ones that clearly aren't news and then that has been few and far between.
