To finish off 2007, I saved my best one for last!
Here's Heather Dawes with her Deity, Enyo. I had actually compiled this image together from several previous sketched attempts of this picture; none of which I was really totally happy with. Using my light-table, I was able to ink each section that I liked from the sketches into a composite final image I was very much pleased with. My only regrets with this image are that the details on her boots are mostly covered by the coloring, and that I had initially drawn her mole in the wrong spot (I shoop'd it out of the image, since its actual location an inch or so lower on her face would be covered by her shoulder in this pose.
END OF THE YEAR FESTIVITY EVENT AND SUCH!
To the first one who is able to figure out what the symbol on her belt buckle represents, I will draw a free fanart of one of your characters!

I like the pose and the composition of the piece. There is a lot of focus on the girl but Enyo remains an integral part of it.

Hey, great work! You've really outdone yourself on this pic.
From a technical level, I really like the composition of the scene- everything goes together quite nicely. Your coloring work is good and strong, and I like the cleanly applied tones that you've added for shading. The lighting looks quite natural, too. I can see a lot of detail to catch the eye, and the mechanistic appearance of her Deity is well-conceived. Good job on all of it!

Wow! Since my moral character is hardly worth defending anymore, I'm just gonna come out and say that your character has a very, very nice ass. 
Okay, belt buckle! Hmmm... that coloration pattern... some kind of hamster or chinchilla? Looks more like a chinchilla cause of the ears...

Hahaha thanks man! I always try to draw my women in such a way that enhances their good attributes! 
The belt buckle is (sort of) a mammal at least, but much larger than a chinchilla! So far no one has been able to figure it out though... It's a very specific fictional character.

.. ah, YEAH! what I meant to say is that she is gorgeous AND badass, and your style continues to strike me as phenomenal! Seriously.. every time I look at your work, there is something that just amazes me. Your coloring is great, but I REALLY like the lines and the detail. Some of the moreso rigid, sharp aspects of the piece in conjunction with the curvasceousness of the starlet of your picture.

Thank you! On this one, I did the base tones and the Deity behind her all with watercolor paint, then on her I did the main coloring with Prismacolor pencils and some touchup work with acrylics.
