...God, I'm in love with this. It's about time I really drew a halfway decent pic of my dear Jon... and really, all of my other bishies. There were a lot of decisions involved in this one. This actually started out as a random sketch, and I only decided halfway through it that I wanted it to be Jon. By the time I was finished drawing it, I decided I wanted to do something I've never seriously done before... ink it. Then, my stupid pen decided to stop working, until I threw a fit about it. (Rule of thumb: Throw fit, get what you want.
)And then, I sat there wondering if I should CG it or color it with colored pencils. Since I did the hair this way, I decided it would be... much easier... to just use pencils.
Anyway, this actually turned out looking like Jon. He's fast asleep, and we all know who he's dreaming of...
I'm sure that smile has something to do with it. (I'm also not sure where his necklace came from.) Even though Jon is my most "male" bishie by appearance, (unless you count Gus as a bishie) he's very modest, and a little shy at times... but he's always friendly. Jon: *sleeping*

... I coulda swore I reviewed this... I think it's over all really good. (Colored pencils!) But remember, lips stretch from the center of an eye to the other.
