These are some Playstation 3 themes I did a couple of months ago using some of the wallpapers I did. There are six themes total, using Variations 0-4. Each theme also has multiple backgrounds. So every time you go back to your main screen from a game, or turn on your system, the background will be different. The icons are mostly just resized vector images from various artists. I just shrank them and did a bit of customization. The list of artists is long, but I used vectors from the MLP-VectorClub gallery [link]Credits go to the original vector artists for their wonderful pieces of work. I only did the background for the wallpapers and compiled the themes.

There is a Fluttershy wallpaper in each one, plus you could always change your PS3 wallpaper with the theme applied. But... perhaps I could do character-based themes?

There is a Rarity background in each variation. The backgrounds are random every time you boot up your PS3 though.

That's a bummer. I've already lost two 360s (each within a year of the purchase) to the RLOD. It's no fun having a system die on you. You have my sympathy.

Unfortunately, making a decent PSP theme is a pain because of how you have to format the icons. You even have to get a separate Japanese program just so that the alpha maps can display properly on the PSP. Otherwise you get icons with ugly white borders. I've converted some of the icons successfully, but I still have to tweak some stuff if I don't want a part of the icon to be transparent when it's not supposed to be (like the moon on Luna's cutie mark or the inner part of Celestia's cutie mark in this case). Anyway, progress might be a bit slow, depending on how much dedication I put into it. But I'll at least try to have it ready early to middle of next week.
Unfortunately, the PSP doesn't allow for multiple theme backgrounds like the PS3 does, so I'm just going to release the base theme and package it with wallpapers. So in the least, you can always change your background image while retaining to interface icons. An naturally, you can always use your own background image, too.

I was thinking about it, and am still pondering doing it since I have a PSP as well. I just wasn't sure if it'd be worth it at this point with the Vita coming soon. But still, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to do it. I'll get started right away!

WOOHOO!!! I SO can't wait!! I only have a PSP and am far from affording the Vita... +_+ I'm so behind on my console purchases... I don't have a PS3, Xbox, Xbox360, NDS (any version), and now the portable Wii thing and the PS Vita... Ugh.... My title as Master Gamer is slipping.

wow you did a very nice job with the theme, but you should have added a icon to the cutie marks (the horizontal one) like you did in that option menu (the vertical one). thats the only flaw i saw in this, again you did a awesome job with it

I personally wanted to keep it as ponified as I could without making it feel too... PS3 so to say. I don't know how else to explain it. XD
