That's wierd...she looks like my mom in her teen ages...that's probably because of those nightmare glasses
so this is quite interesting effect and....I have to compare this foto to my mom's!

not so complicated. that's a scan of a black and white slide, but i did invert the curves to get the positive. if you do it in rgb you get a black and white positive, a bit overexposed i noticed, if you do it in cmyk, you get a decent positive, in sepia, like this. some pic come out really nice from such treatment. by the way in a few days i'll get the normal printed version, and i'm curious about making some comparisons.

oh, i forgot a tiny detail. if the back of your scanner isnt' white, you have to put a white sheet of paper behind the slides, cuase they are transparent. i know it's kinda obvious but on my first attempt i didnt' think of it.
