This is Nacre! or Mother of Pearl, which is basically what she is.

On Homeworld she's in charge of making all the pretty pearls, she's very maternal and incredibly protective of her Pearls wishing they were treated as Gems, not decorations. She was both ecstatic and terrified when she learned about the renegade Pearl, she was happy to know that one of her pearls was fighting and making a difference, but was also concerned for her safety. She just wants to protect her babies
