In the UN-ALTERED Future, Knuckles choose to capture Lien-Da and bring her to trial where she is tried guilty and sentenced to be hanged for war crimes, but she escapes before she is executed. Seeing the guardian's decision as 'fair', The Legion and Echidna Loyalist side with the Freedom Fighters against Eggman in the final battle of Mobotropolis (Operation Endgame). Shadow is captured and is unable to take control of the country. Geoffrey St. John dies, but Elias survives. Lien-Da establishes a underground terrorist network. She raises her son, Rutan

In the ALTERED future, Knuckles in a rage, takes revenge against Lien-Da for the crimes she had committed against his people (mass executions, hangings and imprisonment of all Mobians not aligned with the Legion) and kills her. The Legion sees Lien-Da's death and hails her as a martyr and chooses not to join the Coalition. Remington and the Echidna loyalists sees Knuckle's acts as taking justice into his own hands, and loses faith in Guardianship neutrality. They join the Coalition but less willingly and more distrusting. The Shadow the Hedgehog from the UNALTERED future, is freed from his prison by Lien-Da and travels back in time with Silver to commit his act of revenge, taking control for he planet single-highhandedly with the help of the Legion. Seeing this opportunity, the Nationalist Party initiate a coup and oust the Acorn Royal Family and take control of the government themselves. Elias dies, but Geoffrey St. John survives. Rutan is never born.

Thank you for clearing that up,but I still have one more questions about Rutan. Is Finitevus the dad and if so, how did him and Lien get together? If you thought of it of course.

This is what most confuses me, even in the Sonic Wikia it does not say who Rutan's father is. Dr. Finitivus is just a speculation due to cosmetically similarities, but not necessarily truly his father, nor is it canon.  It doesnt appear anyone has any canonical love-interest for Lien-Da, or Lien-Da to anyone else, nor does Finitevus for anyone.

I was thinking of making up some story for Lien-Da, where she fell in love with another male Echidna in the Legion, but the males Echidna did not share the same feeling for her and constantly rejected her. Being the power-hungry, ruthless and sadist that she is, she has him tortured, raped then murdered. All the other Echidna legions fell in line quickly before her since they so scared of her. So Lien-Da eventually went about happily carrying the child of the dead father and raised Rutan as her own during the war. So Lien-Da is about 30 during the war, and in M 25YL, that would make her about 55 ish, and Rutan would be in his early 30's by M 25YL. 

Im just making some explanations and shit up as I go along, I'll figure something out.

I like to think that they did fall in love with each other but never told anyone not to anger Lien brother. And in the end, Lien has Rutan and shortly after Finitevus ever died or disappeared leavening Lien alone to raise her son.

I see where your coming from, but I always saw Kragok as the power hungry type and Lien, even though she is just as power hungry, is the more level head'it of the two.

Hmm, I dunno, I don't think that really fits Lien-Da's character. I am trying to model the Echidna Legion (I'm not gonna call them 'Dark' Egg legion since it is so stereotypical of making them identify as the bad guys; good and bad are subjective.) after the real-life Nazi-party of Germany, who believe they, the most technologically and scientifically advanced species of all of Mobius, are deemed as 'the Echidna Master Race' and want to claim all of Mobius for themselves and subjugate the lesser races (i.e anyone who isn't an Echidna). This is why Knuckles gets really pissed off after discovering what Lien-Da had been doing in Echidnaopolis, committing genocide, exterminating and butchering his people.

I want Lien-Da to devote solely to herself; A bitch who is power-hungry, who is willing to put ethics and morality second to her own gains, whatever Lien-Da wants, is whatever Lien-Da gets. She in many ways is to be similar to Lord Voldermort from Harry Potter, unable to bother feeling genuine love due to the fact she is so caught up with her endeavors. She can experience lust, but not love. Those are two different things, but not mutually exclusive. 

The use of forbidden love is already common as a theme (between Sally-Sonic and Elias-Megan, due to the fact it is prohibited from a high-class Mobian to marry a commoner), and I try not to get into cliche territory. Lien-Da's personality and outlook on life is what makes her both dangerous and intimidating to both her enemies AND allies.

As a matter of fact, so much so to the point, many Echidna males in the legion try their best to avoid her on a personal level, as they fear she may end up growing 'attached' to one of them, which may more or less spell certain death for them if they choose to reject her...like her LAST love interest.

I might end up creating a graphic Novel. 'AFTERBURNER" was just a precursor of what I could do, I can go a hundred pages or more in a single issue. I intend for at least 16 Issues.
