wow... we had a really bad storm last night, flooded the damn basement about six inches deep... what a mess

yeah, we have a lot of cleaning up to do... lucky we have a pump in the basement so nearly all of the water is gone already, just wet floors now

well, except that the floor in the basement is covered in saw dust from all our woodworking, and a lot of that got soaked, so I have to spend hours cleaning that up and taking it out and dumping it... that's where the mold would grow... and what sucks is, you can only take so much at a time because wet sawdust is HEAVY!

yeah but I don't think it would pick up the wet sawdust... just have to scoop it with a shovel and put it in a tub, and carry the tub out and dump it...

yeah it would, but it would still be a nasty job... the two worst parts are moving everything to get to the mess on the floor, and carrying the heavy loads of crap out to dump... and even with the vac I would still need to do both.

yeah, it really sucks because we have a county bus line... and the place I live is in the biggest school district in the county, in fact, most of the county is part of this district... but there is some disagreement between the county bus line and the district, one of them wants the other to pay them money (not sure who wants who to pay) and because of that, the buses are not allowed to stop in my school district! They drive through, they absolutely HAVE to because if they had to go around they could not operate... but they are not allowed to stop. If we had bus service I could get a job... but since the closest stuff is three miles away, and the closest places where there might be a good many jobs is at least five miles...

well, right now I don't have my license, I could probably get it back... but the old man would be pretty picky about me using his vehicle... probably he would allow it for going to work and back... except that then he would not have a vehicle to drive while I was using it... he could take me and pick me up, but he says that's too hard on him at his age...
(funny, because my brother who lives next door has kids that could not drive til just recently, and he was always taking them to school and work when he was saying he could not take me because it was too much stress...)

last time he mentioned his will he said that I had already gotten my inheritance by living here and having him support me... although honestly, I didn't expect him to leave me anything anyway... he's like that. My sister left her first husband for another man (and while maybe she was wrong to do it the way she did it, she had some pretty good reasons to get away from him) and he disapproves so much he's cut her out of his will entirely... he really can be a jerk sometimes
