is there any limit to what you can crochet?

Do you take requests?Β (I'd commission, but I has no $...maybe we could set up an art trade?Β I could resin you something in return for a fancy crochet doll?)

Ooo, Oshawott is so darling! Β I think I have most of the colors needed for him...
What did you have in mind for the resin? I love the dragonfly ones you've done, but I imagine they aren't easy to come by.

I love the dragonflies too, but like you said, they aren't easy to come by.Β I got lucky with the first one (I had found one previous to it, but my cat decided to eat it...), and the second one my co-worker had found.Β I keep looking out the office window everytime I see movement to see if I can spot another one, but no luck so far.Β Unless you happen to have one that you can send me, those types of resins will be by chance.
What I can make so far range from simple to complex.Β Simple would be like these 20170209 082737
I can do larger "framed" resins like with the dragonflies, but using other things like autumn leaves, dried flowers, koi fish ponds, etc.Β I hesitate on a koi fish pond, as the fish are...something I'm still learning to sculpt without them looking cartoonish and obvious, but if you really want one I'll do one.Β An autumn leaf might be pretty unique though, what with you being in Hawaii and all, you probably don't get trees with changing leaves, do you?Β Or if you want a bigger one, I could do a resin tree pond.
If you want something custom, you could send me something and I could cast it, like a fancy sea shell, dried flower, insect etc.

Β I adore the autumn leaves idea! You're quite right, changing leaves is something I don't get here and sorely miss.
Do you prefer a pose and/or expression for your Oshawott?

Yes...let me come up with something, as I have lots of Oshawott sketches that I can reference...
And alright, I have some that I pressed last year but never cast, I could do one of those, unless you have any particular leaf you'd like cast?

lol.Β Well, I don't want to to crowd the piece with lots of leaves.Β It's better to frame one leaf per piece.Β But if you'd like, I can do 2-3 different and colorful leaf pieces?
