so you don't need to give up, success is not money fame, chicks and dude points.
the most successful people attribute their success to the hardships they face,
I am no way successful, but i look at other things to motivate me.

oh ok, i will take that as a complement, honestly I did not even know who is luis royo or his work till today. It was actually inspired by into the beautiful grim by daarken, i just loved that painting so much that i gave my own interpretation.
I saw Luis Royo's works, i don't think my work captures that awesomeness.
I like the style where you pull and push elements, you know a blank canvas can be daunting and just follow the randomness of the strokes. Sadly i use a mouse pen, and that has no pressure sensitivity.

well i was or am now used to drawing with a mouse pen.
at first i was really frustrated and just wanted to give up cause i could not blend, could not draw or paint faint strokesΒ and well i thought what the heck, i should give up but strangely enough simple shading on pencil and paper again got me back to drawing digitally, i am a poor fellow, lol.
anyway i saw that a few weeks of gap drawing digitally and traditional work improved my skill. and when i go back to sketching or more like shading, they shading and form improves.
and the other way works for digital painting. it is like sharpening both sides of a blade.
I have had no professional training when it comes to digital art so its more a trial and error and my brain collecting information.

well i don't think i can even afford a bamboo now, i converted my mouse into a mouse pen, where i can draw by holding the the mouse button and the transceiver is placed on the bottom where led or ball of a pen would be,
there is no pen pressure or sensitivity but i have my own custom opacity and flow settings and like painting in real life the more i add the more colour there is.

don't paint with the a mouse, i did for a year and a half and i was getting no where with a mouse and later when i bought a tablet, i saw How much my drawing and painting skills deteriated.
Mouse makes your hands more heavy and you slowly lose that softnly, i think even for 60 dollars

Its been almost 3 years I'm with a mouse.. I know its hard but I can't find a tablet! The cheapest I found so far is 800$!! There's none in my area! :/ but I keep drawing traditionally too so I don't lose that touch hopefully!!Β

will i use a genious pen tablet, i bout it for around 60 dollars, it has no pen pressure and it can so shortcut keys but i use my traditional skills for blending and my knowledge of color and values.
It is a mouse Β pen with no special skills.
yes traditional skills really really help, what you can do is scan your drawings or paintings and digitally paint them in, but i would recommend using using a pen tablet, a graphic tablet can help alotΒ
