Operation: Samurai Showdown! This is either the most epic operation ever, or the one with the greatest death wish. What is this operation you may ask? Playing through Dark Souls only using two-handed Katanas; That's right, no shields, magics, parrying, or bows/crossbows. To add to the fun, you can only wear the pants of three sets and nothing else. Let me recap on that; Katanas only with only one piece of armor. That's impossible, you say? Not so. Myself and Fire got to and past Ornstein and Smough in roughly 5 hours with not too many deaths. To be honest,when I saw the title. I thought it was related to the fighting game,Samurai Showdown. But this seems like an interesting challenge.
Also,I couldnt help but reading about how you want to get a capture card for recording games. I'm into recording games myself,and I can list a few options for recording if you're interested:

I have used the Hauppauge and one of the Avermedia products before,and from my experience they work pretty good. The Roxio is mainly for people who can't afford the over 100 dollars price tag with the other game capture products. Though I've been hearing that the Roxio one isn't all that great...then again,I've never used it so I can't say from a personal experience,only with the Hauppauge and Avermedia.

As for Samurai Showdown; The name came to us, but we were unaware, at the time, of the game until after the operation was made. We had no idea that there was a game named 'Samurai Showdown' out there. Just one of the many coincidences that make life fun.

We are trying to get a capture card that I will use for my PS3. Once we get it, and test it to make sure it works and our audio device records ok, we will do a double commentary lets play of it. ;D

I hear the Adaptek Gamebridge is perfect for that. RoahmMythril used it to record videos of himself playing Megaman 9 and 10.

The problem I was dealing with was hiding the tie he is pulling off his neck with the Katana, without having it look really awkward in his hand. No idea. It seems like a lost cause. ;D
