Description 2 of my favorite G1 Transformers, Apeface and Snapdragon recreated in TFA's visual style. Yes they're still triple-changers. I try to keep track of the altmode parts when I'm drawing, just in case I ever want to make them in 3D. However, they are no longer headmasters. Instead of both being fighter jets, Apeface is now a heavy bomber, not unlike Lugnut, with dual cockpits.

I picture these 2 guys as hired guns, maybe acting like latin gang members (accents included). Apeface does the talking while Snapdragon takes it cool.

Cool idea for the designs. I always like the idea that Apeface and Snapdragon are two deceptions that actually will not betray one another. Interesting notion on the Latin gang member take, for some reason I always thought they would be more like frat boys, cheering as they go into battle and bashing heads together when they do something right. But these are still cool designs, look very genuine.

Nice yet I think that by making them just normal triple changers (with out the headmasters that formed both there robot and "beast" mode heads) that you lost a bit of what made these two a bit cooler than the rest of the G1 transformers, since not only were they triple changers but so were there headmasters. I do like the designs though. I agree that Snapdragon could use a few more dragon parts.
