WellThis has been sitting in my Sta.sh since DECEMBER. Yeah. I've had Arty's evolution planned out since I joined the group, and I never really did get to tell that story ahaha. When I first went in, I didn't even like Arty being a Treecko; I wanted to evolve him as soon as I could. And, while I'll still be making stories, I figured I might as well post this. Sucks because my style has changed SO MUCH since this, so his updated artwork will be on the reference sheet. the basic major differences are that his wrist-leaves are shaped more like wings and he has several leaves on his head, kinda like a cockatiel. Oh, and the big one is much smaller too ahaha. Oh yeah and his face is shaped a bit differently; it's much longer and sleeker and has a more dinosauric look to it
Ah well.
Oh yeah this was done with Prismacolors. I kinda miss my coloredpencil work lol

Ah, well basically, I'll try to make this short;
Artemis has an advanced form of Syphilis that gives him Schizophrenia-like symptoms (hallucinations and hearing voices in his head), but he interprets it as his "instincts." Upon evolving, the diseased accelerated to a dangerous level, but still manageable. He keeps a calm resolve when he's around others, and especially when Chryss is around, but the moment he gets around Alastair or something/someone makes him uncomfortable, he can snap into his feral state. He'll try to resist, but often nothing can stop him from tearing a limb off or two. When he's calm, however, he speaks in Latin, but knows that the Pokemon around him can't understand what he's saying. So, more often than not, he actually makes rude/sarcastic comments towards them in Latin. He hasn't quite lost his Treecko habits from where he would stare at people uncomfortably while they're talking or something, but he's a lot more, erm... serious? Rather than before it just looked creepy/cute. Because he has eyelids now, he's able to make expressions a bit more easily. He's usually pretty level headed and looks at situations with a good amount of logic and reason, but will ignore anyone who tries to dispute his ideas. It's not like he's often wrong, though.
If you're going to use him for a battle or something, that's usually when his feral side tends to kick in. He can keep control for most of it, but if killing becomes involved, then he's gone. He'll also probably try to eat whatever he's killing, not out of hunger, but simply from feral instincts. I think the moves he knows are Leaf Blade, Acrobatics, Screech, and... Crunch? I think? They all mostly work how you think they would, but Leaf Blade can be used with ANY of the leaves on his body (wings, tails, or head leaves) and Acrobatics is similar to Sass's Aerial Ace, in which he can fly and his "wings" grow fully into actual wings.

Nice work Sass! Your artstyle is still really great. even if it was in December 
The shading and colors you used are amazing, and I really like his eyes, narrow golden slits. (So pretty !) And, lastly, I wanted to comment on his tail, I like how long it is, it reminds me of Slenderman
