Hybridor Ulta can turn into a lot of things to fit near any scenario. But sometimes a mission needs her to instead don on external components rather than risking damage to her very being by transforming into something. Usually missions like this are ones that mean she'll be smack in the middle of intense combat. So here she is in futuristic tech armor, and she also minorly transformed to rid herself of her tail. Less things to shoot at she thought. Luckily this time though she got a heavily armored partner to work with too! Yes that's Sabre hiding in all that armor behind her XD This isn't canon, but the scenario could sure be a possibility if she ever needed to go into whatever dimension he dwells in.
Geez this took me forever...armor this complex takes so long to work with. But I actually like the results. Enjoy!

i say, this looks gorgeous, and somewhat uh. ya know....
you get a real sense of power and focus on the job at hand in the experssion and pose, but it also seems to me at least that there is also somewhat a lack of mercy... at least in this exact image.

the poses of the characters reminds me of one of the covers of the appleseed mangas. i love the detailing on the armor. I'm kinda a lover of detailing on mechanical and armor designs seeing every bit, bolt, and whatnot. plus the neon glowing bits gives it a blood dragon eqse feel to the weapons :3

Darn it ya caught me. I was given an appleseed cover as reference for the layout and poses he wanted. So that is why it looks close to it.
hope that's not a complaint though ^^ I didn't trace, I just looked at it. Glad you like what you see though. I normally do not draw armor and such this detailed ever. Was a change of pace.

But yeah, great cover. Th one this was based on was used on the VHS version of the film. Also, has the best tagline ever. "Urban combat in the city of dreams.".
As for the power armour, I'm often worried I might be to close to bubblegum crisis. I try to keep away from it as much as possible, but some comparisons are bound to happen.
