Some days ago my dear friend Mocarro asked me if I'd join the usual improvement/art summary meme of the year, and that reminded me I was almost forgetting about So I ended up reducing myself at doing it the very last day of the year, pheeew! Now... You all know I'm not very good at these kind of things, but I would like to say that no matter what happened so far: I'm grateful for all the support and the love received tru the year. And... Yeah, looking at my previously posted art, I also have to say I'm pretty proud of all the improvements as well!

Tbh I believe this meme in particular does not give justice to all the things I learned about digital art during the whole year 2021 (well, could not add more than 1 piece per month to show ya! ) But yep, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone by just doing small steps and it helped a lot when I had to re-gain some of my self-confidence about art in times when I thought (again and again! ) I was not good enough because no one commissioned me; I just thought I lost my spark or something, but I know that's not the truth

Also... I know, I still compare myself to the most well-known manipulator artists around the community, but I'm slowly tossing away the toxicity of socials and started doing the comparing thing in the correct, "good" way: for sure I know I would like to be inspired and not intimidated anymore from those artists. Well, not that any of those people has ever been mean or rude to me, not at all: I am lucky to have brilliant, nice and friendly people to talk with. It's all in my mind, you know?

"oooh, I would never be such a good artist, look at how cool their art is, how I could reach their skill levels"

... sounds relatable, huh?

Well, it's hard to fight against the voices in your head trying to let you down, but believe me if I say that I won't never, ever let those nasty things win! u_u I know I worth it, I know of what I am capable of if I decide to, and I really really hope that 2022 will bring me more ideas, more self confidence, more luck and a lot of time to learn moar amazing things!

To all clients, friends and fellow artists goes my usual giant, endless THANK YOU. I wish you all the very best and I will never have the right words to say how grateful and joyful I am for having such strong pillars in my life: your support is what still convinces me to don't give up when I struggle with art (and I struggle a lot, and really more often than you could think) Thank you, thank you, thank you for being with me, for your sparkly enthusiasm about my art and for turning my "no" days into shiny, bright and colorful days!
