"My beloved Tara. There is nothing that I wouldn't do for her. One of my few wishes in life is to take care of her and see her happy. It seems to be hard-wired into my DNA that I want to protect her, even though I know she doesn't need protecting and can, in fact, kick my arse from here until Sunday if we ever got in a fight for real.

Quite honestly, I don't know what she sees in me since I'm far from the ideal looking athenian. The species is known for being quite elegant and otherworldly looking... and I'm... well... let's just say my jubblies are a lot bigger than hers."

I opted to do this task myself since I could always use an excuse to draw Irvine/Tara mush.

Irvine's is content with where his life is currently at, so he has very few wishes for himself. He does desire to reach elder beastmaster status one day, which is seen as a great honor amongst his guild members (It does happen one day). This wish pales in desire to his main priority of serving the guild to better it in any way he can.

However, the main focus that he has in life is Tara. He wants to do everything in his power to make her happy.

Despite this, neither one of them want to actually get married. Not because they don't love each other (because they absolutely do! But because neither one of them feels a need to have a piece of paper to say that they love each other.

Having kids is definitely out of the question. Mostly because Irvine can't stand kids... but there is another reason that will be explained in a future task.
