Did you do the art for the priest on the page for the Ministorum Priest class in the core book? Trying to find a clean image of that guy.

One of the best art of Imperial Guards in battle. The priest leading them in front of the baneblade makes this perfect.

The expression of the Guardsman in the bottom right corner with the visibly pitted helmet suggests that he had seen enough action that he lost the ability to give a single fuck. So much so that he's on the verge being able to repel away in single fuck he comes across.

why does a ministorum priest have the "I" symbol? anyways, as always badass prospective!
π: 0 β©: 1
Luckmann In reply to AngaelWings [2014-09-02 16:09:45 +0000 UTC]
Hah, at first when I saw it, I was about to say that hey, the "I" is ubiquitous throughout the Imperium, used in a wide variety of ways and contexts. The symbol of the Ecclesiarchy, for example, is an "I" with a skull surrounded by rays or ray-like sprockets.
But then I noticed that the priest doesn't just have an "I", what he has is quite clearly an INQUISITORIAL "I". Not only does he have the three stripes on it, but he even has the superimposed skull.
I also notice that the Inquisitorial "I" is on the book at the hip of the priest.
Likely a small but significant error by the artist.
Good catch.

I just faved this.Β I'm sorry; this is totally irreverent -- I don't know the game for which this was done, don't know the backstory, and consequently when I look at your superbly drawn image, what I see is probably not at all what you intended.
I see a Robopriest holding a Roman eagle with the SPQR removed and a copy of Webster's New Third International chained to it in its place.
I don't fave battle scenes as a rule but I sure had to for this one.Β Anyone who threatens the enemy with an unabridged dictionary is in dire need of a Fave.
Again, I'm sorry for the irreverence -- it's beautifully rendered, and the priest's arm motion and cry, and the motion of his robe, are captured so perfectly.Β Really top notch.
