It's a shame the Hull Breach site is down. The mod looks cool every time I come back to look at it, but aside from some scattered images here and there (and your gallery), all the wonderful HB artwork has vanished

i would like to see more of the full costumes. Also what tech concepts do you couple with your eyeless helmets? i happen to love the idea of no eyes and if you spend enough time thinking about it and watching how battlefield technology is progressing in this age and the ages to come you'll find that eyes will eventually be obsolete i mean as data tools and data communication and gathering becomes more often used and more important it will be much more effective to detect an enemy through open air communication meaning listening for COM chatter and static proximity alarms sent to you by deep observation satelites and drones also sight can be seen in a virtual enviroment as well as being seen with actual eyes i mean if all the data is there your mind can make a world where you can view your enemy from every angle well anyway tell me what you think? i won like 19 science projects all over the nation just babbling about this shit

My fantasy is more... easier to relate to. Essentially they are face plates, plain and simple. It relates to the history of the costumes, and fits decently into the practical working world, on a basic level.
Face plates cover the future-fantastic version of transparent materials.. and in turn supply video feed through the reverse side by micro cameras and optic wire through the other side. Primitive, but I think it works to some basic level of logic lol.
Thats all it is, its no 'ghost in the shell' mind%$@^ tech, nothing that i feel loses the romanticism of actual sight.
Although, now that i think about it.. a tron or binary-universe as a visual might be interesting to revisit sometime!

true you have a good point i just made alot of that stuff up for a mod i was working on i got extremely sick of the whole genetically enhanced super soldier thing so i thought of a more surreal explenation for how one soldier might turn the tides of a war it's much more believable that a soldier survives because of unlimited awareness then to just be really strong

i would like to see more allaboration on the helm concepts especially the far right one i dont know what tech you couple with your concepts of helmets that dont include eyes but when i dont have eyes on my helm concepts it's always explained in practical terms for example information gathering in the future will be so complex and so in depth that actual sight is a waste of mental processing resources it would be much more effective to
