Did a set of pictures featuring the Sanzo-Ikkou with wings..! Cliche, I know.. But wings are fun to draw, and it was also a lot of fun adding in all the fun symbolism..!This one is of Goku, and is my favorite! The idea came from my roommate(thankyouthankyou) and since Goku isn't a human, demon, or god, he gets no wings! well, he gets fake ones.. that mimic Sanzo's.. ::laughs::

The eye on the right is kind of odd, but he is still hell of hot. he is ubber sexy, he is my favorite character of Saiyuki and i luv it to hell and back. The fake wings won my heart over all the others members, i heart you for your creativity and mastery in art. Go Goku, you rock!!!

I must say that I'm absolutely loving all of your winged Sanzo party drawings. I definitely love the cheeky look on Goku's face (and is his limiter meant to look like a lowered halo? I dunno, maybe that's just my interpretation).

Goku is my favorite character... and like RubyNightseyes, I love the fact that you pointed out that he's not a youkai... or anything else, for that matter. He's a species all of his own! This is my favorite concept for the wings. Fake ones, imitating Sanzo's... hee <3.

I love all of these so far, they're classy, and they suit the characters. What I love best, though, is how it looks like Minekura'san's work, and yet somehow completely original. Also, YOU NOTICED! Everyone calls Goku a damn youkai, when he ain't!

This is a marvelous set of the saiyuki boys that you've come up with. Very classic, not clichΓ©.
