Sure, man. As long as you can send me a link to where it'll be used- that'd be ok.

have you considered making the plating more defined and rigid as if made of bone? some what like an exoskeleton I suppose.

Yeah I did Play with that idea somewhat- thought it made him look like he was wearing a suit of armour.
I wanted this armour to be an extension of his flesh which, while tough was also flexible enough for him to move about without restrictions. He's got some bony 'growths' though... That sounds really wrong.
But I digress, a few modifications might be in order- thanks for the input!

...."bony growths" (snickers).
Take a look at Mass Effect's Krogan(specifically Grunt) or the Napad from Resident Evil 6. basically something like broken up patches of bony carapace with notable ridges and small, dull spikes. it would definitely make it look more organic.
Alternatively, consider making the muscle underlayer (that is what I'm seeing under the 'plating' here and there right?) of the armor a shiny, slippery looking, seem transparent skin. that would allow you to show more of it without looking like Guyver bio-armor or Crisis nanosuits based derivatives.

Great suggestions fella, I'll look in to that when I get some free time. There are a lot of cool creatures in Mass Effect- might look into the Collector design a bit too. Cheers!

great work as always boy; I did see this on Facebook as well; I see you've combined two ideas since, looking good... and I can't remember Guyver very well so can't offer comment on that.

Legs seem weird to me on the final. Also its pretty cool to actually see the rough from my suggestion.

Cheers, fella- I'll be refining the final image a bit- the legs shouldn't look too wierd... well, they are wierd because he has great big bony spike things sticking out of his calves. But I digress, I should be able to use the other designs for any other characters with similar abilities!

if we're playing mix and match i personally think these are the most appealing traits.
head from the 1st
torso from the 2nd
arms from the 3rd
legs from the 1st
and feet from the 3rd
and here's the reasons why i didn't pick some of the other pieces
the torso from the 1st reminds me of nightmare from soul calibur
the torso from the 3rd just looks like it would be a 3d mesh nightmare with little benefit
for the head its the lights/eye placement it might look ok close up but from a distance it probably will be a bit confusing
actually i kind of like the ear piece on the 2nd also
for the arms 1st with blades going forward can cause all sorts of problems if he's ever gonna be wielding heavy weaponry.
for the legs it just lost out to coolness lol really liked 1st legs.
for feet the human toes doesn't look good for a soldier the dino like toes on the 2nd were ok but 2 many but the 3rd feet looked future militarized for scaling large uneven terrain like mounds of wreckage.
that's all i can think of atm hope it helped

as i recall from memory i used to only play 1st and 2nd soul calibur i have 3 somewhere bot never really played it lol.
uh he always had some form of an eyeball in the middle of his chest ive got nothing against the rest of the chest armor i certainly think its an interesting torso but the main reason i chose 2nd was the protruding neck piece it gives an manmade armor like feel to it that the others lack.

Not Guyver per say but something close, more like what the Zoanoids from The Guyver were in concept, bits and pieces of them mixed and matched would be pretty cool all three have aspects I think work and don't work but each one is pretty awesome in its own right. But diffidently Zoanoid in concept not really a Guyver so much.
Still cool though man you can tell you care about how each one comes out and is to be different from each other.

Zoanoids are the "Monster things" yes but a little more than that they are biological tactical weapons developed by the "creators" to serve as foot soldiers. They use humans as a template and alter them with animal DNA/ whatever the hell to create physically suppirior specimens for combat. They also had Zoalords to control them Telepathically and create an army that was basically unstoppable. The Guyver is basically a biotechnological suit of armor that the creators illegibly used mainly as space suits because of how long it could go in space unnaffected by the vaccume and sustain oxygen supply. When given to an unmodified human it became a threat in that it no longer responded to telepathic commands and caused massive destruction. There are more details but that is the general gist of it. The anime is good but suffers from sever pacing and character development, plus the writing is terrible and there is clearly no love for the plot when whomever writes it.
But ta yeah go re-watch it the ideas you use are similar accept it seems more simple. The plot of the guyver could have been awesome but it failed and went short with like I said poor character development and no real direction. It had the pieces to be awesome but just ended up sucking.
You're designs are cool man and I hope you keep up the work, I do recommend the torso with the Abs on it and the feet that have all the digits, these are just my recommendations.

"And knowing is half the battle!" Thanks man, I actually watched one of the anime's the other night- the first one (from the 80's). It was fun! Though now I'm even more worried that it's too similar because the lead character's called Sho. Like Tysho. God dammit.
I'll be using all these designs at some point for other Nanoskinned characters but thanks for the info!
